Everybody has a preferred learning style. Knowing and understanding
these learning styles makes learning more effective. For this reason,
NHC presents different formats for learning which maximise benefits
and increase satisfaction.
Classroom-based
This type of delivery encourages teachers to reflect on their professional practice and the impact that it has on their setting, colleagues or organisation. They develop this awareness by attending hands-on sessions. In these sessions, they will be able to link theory to practice and focus on areas which are essential to understand before stepping into the classroom. During the course, teachers work in teams to plan and teach lessons. The classes are taught by experienced practitioners. With these experienced tutors, teachers will have all the proper guidance and expert advice needed to achieve their dreams.
The sessions have:
Tasks - Give participants the opportunity to develop practical skills which every teacher needs to make classes effective and fun.
Teaching practice - Supervised lesson planning and observed peer teaching sessions with feedback to consolidate what has been taught.
Assessment of Classroom-Based Courses
